Hi everyone. I want to welcome you to my new blog. I have been involved with raising money for both the American Cancer Society and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. They both give you some suggestions on raising money. I followed many of them, and yet I still didn't reach my goal of $4400 needed by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society so I could participate in the group hike for their Hike for Discovery Program. I originally thought that the minimum amount sounded really high, yet I was assured that it was easy to attain. Well it was easy for them to attain, they charge your credit card the amount you are short! I figured that there had to be an easier way. I am very committed to helping charities and know that there must be more ways to raise funds. So that is what this blog is about. Finding and sharing ways to raise money with less stress and more results. The same techniques that work for charities will also work for schools and other organizations. Please feel free to share any ideas you may have. And as always, comments, suggestions, and constructive criticism is always welcome.
